Lawren Leo's collection offers nine crooked paths hidden in perpetual shadow. Each is dark, yet alluring. Which will you take? Which story have you lived? Which story will you live next? Modern-day Fifth Avenue becomes the scene of a murder stretching back in time to the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79AD. A diva confronts long lost love and stolen gold during her final performance at the New York Metropolitan Opera House. A jet-set crowd gathers for Halloween as witchcraft, love, and celebrities collide on Fire Island. In the manner of Edgar Allen Poe and The Grimm Brothers, these love stories are wonderfully alarming and seductively tragic. A galaxy of engaging stories about the ultimate price of love. Enter the world of Love's Shadow: Nine Crooked Paths.

Qabalah is an esoteric method, discipline, and school of thought in Jewish mysticism. A traditional The definition of Qabalah varies according to the tradition and aims of those following it, from its religious origin as an integral part of Judaism, to its later adaptations in Western esotericism (Christian Kabbalah and Hermetic Qabalah). Jewish Kabbalah is a set of esoteric teachings meant to explain the relationship between the unchanging, eternal God–the mysterious Ein Sof, "The Infinite" and the mortal, finite universe (God's creation). It forms the foundation of mystical religious interpretations within Judaism. David explains, "The beauty of Qabalah is the way it unfolds and it does so in a very personal way. It never ceases to amaze me. We’re all the same and unique at the same time. Qabalah is a system, it has structure that if followed will help you grow here on earth, and in the spiritual worlds. We are all trees, our roots in the earth, our branches reaching for the sky."

The Pagan Wheel of the Year

The Pagan seasonal cycle is often called the Wheel of the Year. Almost all Pagans celebrate a cycle of Sabbarts, which are spaced every six or seven weeks through the year and divide the wheel into eight segments. Four of the Sabbats have Celtic origins and are known by their Celtic names, Imbolc, Beltane, Lughnasadh and Samhain. The other four are points in the solar calendar. These are Spring and Autumn Equinox (when the length of the day is exactly equal to the night), Summer and Winter Solstice (longest and shortest days of the year). Neolithic sites such as Stonehenge act as gigantic solar calendars which marked the solstices and equinoxes and show that solar festivals have been significant dates for hundreds of thousands of years. This podcast originally aired on New Year's Eve several years ago And since 2021 will be here before we know it, this just seemed like the perfect podcast to play and we start the holiday season.

We also talked about her work as an artist, how both the book and oracle deck were created, and the magic of art in general We started out with Enchanted Fairy Tales, a collection of some of the most famous and beloved classic Fairy Tales Like Hansel and Gretel, Cinderella, Thumbelina, A Midsummer Night's Dream and Sleeping Beauty. These stories have been adapted and beautifully illustrated by Judy. Then we switched gears to the oracle Deck which will take users on an exciting adventure of self-discovery and enlightenment with whimsical messages that will help you enhance your life and express your deepest feelings. The last time Echo was a guest on the show back in September, She talked about Thoughts on 2020 from the Other side and at the same time was bombarded with questions from the listeners in the chat room. Time quickly ran out and so we decided that it would be good idea to ask her back just to answer questions and we covered a lot of ground. Questions ranged from connecting with spirit, what is Heaven like, if there really is a Hell, reincarnation, do our loved ones on the other side hear us when we call out to them, will be reunited with our loved ones, and everything in between. We had so many really good questions from the chat room and that made for a very informative and interesting hour. If you ever wondered what things are like beyond the veil, just ask Echo. She's been there.

One of the most enigmatic figures in world history, King Arthur has been the subject of many fantastical tales over the past 1500 years, leading many scholars to regard him and his fabled city of Camelot simply as myth. But, as Graham Phillips shows through a wealth of literary and scientific evidence, King Arthur was a real man, Camelot a real place, and the legendary Excalibur a real sword--and Phillips has located them all. Phillips examines the earliest stories of Arthur as well as previously unknown ancient manuscripts preserved in the vaults of the British Library in London to pinpoint the exact locations of Arthur’s tomb, the ruins of Camelot, and the sword Excalibur. He visits archaeological excavations at the ruins of Viroconium, near Wroxeter in Shropshire, clearly identifying the ancient city as Camelot, the fortified capital of Arthur’s Britain. Working with specialist divers and marine archaeologists, he surveys the depths of an ancient lake in the English countryside to reveal the resting place of Excalibur. Enlisting a team of scientists and sophisticated geophysics equipment, he uncovers the lost grave of the historical King Arthur, buried with his shield, just as told in legend.

Before anyone gets their knickers in a knot about this show, it's parody, although when this episode first aired, we played it straight, but very soon, the listeners caught on. The backstory is, Several years ago, during the Halloween season, I thought it might be interesting to get a Demon's point of you about the world we live in. Luckily, I didn't have to summon any demons. One just volunteered, and if you were a regular listener of Para X Radio back then, you just might be able to identify who this "demon" was, like a couple of people in the Para X chat room last night who remembered the original airing of the show and our dastardly Demon in disguise.
