June 12, 2020 10:22 AM PDT
Scott Michaels is a Hollywood Historian who knows where celebrities died, how they died and where they are buried. In Hollywood, some celebrity graves are elaborate, some humble, some funny and some quite poignant and this week, with the advent of a new chat room at Para X, those who listened to the show live were able to see pics of the graves we were talking about. I've done the same in this podcast. You'll be able to see as well as listen. A little extra added plus for a change. Scott is one of my most interesting and asked for guests so sit back, be a virtual traveler, see where some of Hollywood's finest are resting in peace and hear some great stories that go along with each burial.Barry Fitzgerald-My House is Haunted. Now What?
June 12, 2020 10:16 AM PDT
Objects move of their own accord leading to bumps in the night. What if your child sees figures standing at the foot of their bed as they try and sleep. Perhaps the reader suspects a spiritual reason behind the strange activity and so you call in one of the thousands of teams readily available to investigate your home. They then give you possible evidence to support your suspicion of a haunting, leaving you the question: So my home is haunted…now what?
This book is a compilation of ideas, beliefs and faiths from around the world, brought together into one book which deals with this very question, and guides you where to go to seek help. It offers the reader the knowledge they need to make their own decisions and fix what can be a traumatic and deeply personal experience.Jacki Smith - Finding Your New Normal
June 05, 2020 10:14 AM PDT
As they say, The Winds of Change are Blowing, The Wheel of Life Is Turning, and nothing stays the same. That's exactly what's going on in our crazy world right now. Things are changing and we need to feel comfortable with the change which is being referred to as The New Normal. What does that mean and how do we find it? Perhaps an oracle deck reading can point us in the right direction. Or maybe a wee bit of candle magic is in order. Because we are all different in our beliefs and mindset, there are lots of different ways to make peace within ourselves in these turbulent times. Jacki Smith, the enchantress of Coventry Creations joined me this week to share some of her thoughts on embracing the change, taking charge of our own destiny and manifesting the life we want to be living.Lilith Dorsey - Orishas, Goddesses and Voodoo Queens
May 29, 2020 11:01 AM PDT
Throughout Africa and beyond in the diaspora caused by the slave trade, the divine feminine was revered in the forms of goddesses like the ancient Nana Buluku, water spirits like Yemaya, Oshun, and Mami Wata, and the warrior Oya. The power of these goddesses and spirit beings has taken root in the West. New Orleans, for example, is the home of Marie Laveau, who used her magical powers to become the “Voodoo Queen” of New Orleans. Orishas, Goddesses, and Voodoo Queens shows you how to celebrate and cultivate the traits of these goddesses, drawing upon their strengths to empower your own life. In addition to offering a guided tour of the key goddesses of the African religious traditions, the book offers magical spells, rituals, potions, astrological correspondences, sacred offerings, and much more to help guide you on your own transformational journey.Shaman James Stovall

It was a double header this week with Ron Kolek and Steve Parsons, the hosts of Ghost Chronicles International on toginet.com and the Paraxradionetwork.com. The subject matter this week was a smorgasbord of paranormal topics, from the legendary Harry Price to Automatic writing and pretty much everything else in between. It also served as an introduction to their show for those who had never tuned in and to share the news that I am now a once a month co-host with Ron and Steve and it's been a lot of fun. So listen in and have a taste of Ghost Chronicles International. Believe me when I say that there is never a dull moment.Philip Earl Johnson-MooNiE Tales
May 15, 2020 10:13 PM PDT
The worldwide pandemic has robbed us of many things over the last few months, and one of life's little pleasures, the yearly Renaissance Faires all over the country have been cancelled which for many of us, leaves us with a bad case of MooNiE Withdrawal. Even though we can't go see MooNiE in person, it was possible for him to come to us, live, on this week's show and share some wonderful Moonie Tales. And as an extra added bonus, our very good friend Sam Miller joined us. When Phil was on my show last year, we talked about the qualities of The Magic of Laughter, and this week's show proved once again that laughter is the best medicine. So like I said in the show's opener, "Hunker down, get comfortable and if you start feeling a very strange sensation in your face during the show, do not panic. It’s just that big smile that has been tucked away lately, making a comeback."The Rev and Witch Show- Santa Muerte
May 15, 2020 09:45 AM PDT
Santa Muerte (Spanish for Holy Death or Sacred Death), is a female folk saint venerated primarily in Mexico and the Southwestern United States. A personification of death, she is associated with healing, protection, and safe delivery to the afterlife by her devotees. She generally appears as a female skeletal figure, clad in a long robe and holding one or more objects, usually a scythe and a globe. She also happens to be Tim Shaw's patron saint, and is considered to be the special matron of witches, magickal practitioners, and necromancers which is a very good reason to build a Rev and Witch show around her.
Host Marla Brooks stirs the cauldron every Thursday night at 9:00 PM ET on Para X with interesting guests from both the Pagan and Paranormal realms.
